We collect only the information necessary to provide and power your live creator media kit:

• Account & Profile Details: Your name, creator handle, email address, bio, profile photo, location/city (e.g. Lagos, Abuja), niche categories, and rates in Naira (₦) or other currencies.
• Connected Social Media Analytics: When you connect your YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok accounts, we securely fetch public statistics via official APIs, including follower/subscriber counts, view metrics, engagement rates, video thumbnails, and top country demographics.
• Collaboration Brief Data: Information submitted by brands via public collaboration forms (e.g., brand name, campaign brief, budget range, timeline, and sender contact email).
• Technical & Log Data: Device type, browser user agent, IP address, and anonymized kit view impressions to calculate kit performance analytics.

2. Third-Party Platform Integrations

Marloden connects to authorized official APIs to maintain real-time accuracy without asking for your social media passwords:

• YouTube API Services: By connecting YouTube, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We only request read-only access to channel statistics and video performance.
• Meta & Instagram Graph API: We access public business/creator account metrics, follower counts, reel reach, and audience demographics.
• TikTok for Developers API: We retrieve follower counts and public video statistics in accordance with TikTok Developer Policies.

You can disconnect any social platform at any time from your Creator Dashboard settings, which immediately revokes our API access tokens.

3. Trust, Security & Data Protection

We treat your creator business data with high security and privacy standards:

• OAuth 2.0 Encryption: Access tokens are encrypted at rest and in transit via TLS 1.3. We never see or store your social account passwords.
• No Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or trade your audience analytics or contact information to data brokers or third-party advertisers.
• Verified Metrics: Stats are fetched directly from platform APIs, ensuring brands receive genuine, tamper-proof creator audience figures.
• NDPR & Global Compliance: Designed for Nigerian creators in full alignment with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and international standards.

4. Cookies & Local Storage Policy

Marloden uses minimal, privacy-conscious cookies and browser storage technologies:

• Essential Authentication Cookies: Secure session tokens required to keep you signed in to your creator dashboard.
• Preference Storage (`marloden-theme`): Local storage key used to remember your preferred UI theme (Light, Dark, or System) without flashing.
• Privacy-First Kit View Analytics: Lightweight, cookieless telemetry to measure how many brand managers view and engage with your media kit.

You can configure your browser to reject cookies; however, authentication and dashboard features may not function properly without essential session cookies.

5. Your Creator Data Rights

You maintain full control over your media kit and personal information:

• Access & Export: Download an offline PDF snapshot of your complete media kit anytime.
• Rate Visibility:Toggle your rate card between public visibility, custom currency values, or "Rates available on request."
• Platform Unlinking: Revoke and disconnect YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok accounts with one tap.
• Account Deletion: Delete your profile and all associated media kit data permanently from our systems.
